About the House

CyMo House is located atop scenic Soledad Mountain, and is on almost an acre of land. The 2,400 square foot, open-concept house is bright and airy, with six male only resident beds. There is a serene and expansive backyard with an outdoor BBQ and multiple sitting areas. The house is in close proximity to local colleges such as UCSD, SDSU, USD, and Mesa College. We are also located close to local gym’s such as 24 Hour Fitness & Crunch Fitness in Pacific Beach and La Jolla. We encourage our residents to stay active in the community. Whether it be joining a local gym, taking a run down to the beach that is only a few miles away, surfing, paddle boarding, and biking. In fact the we are only 2-5 miles away from Pacific Beach, La Jolla Shores, & Scripps.

Meetings & Recovery Activities

CyMo House is also located within a few miles of local meetings. Such as Dawn Patrol at God’s Garage daily at 7am, P.B. Alano club with daily meetings, Old Town Speakers meeting 7pm on Sundays at Mt. Soledad Presbyterian Church. We understand that in recovery there is not a one size fit all approach. We encourage our residents who want to attend Smart Recovery meetings, church, and or any other holistic activity that helps aid in their recovery.

Background

The clinical team at La Jolla Healing Center firmly believes in the importance of structured sober housing. They have seen firsthand the difference it makes in a client’s recovery and continued sobriety. Clients can attend an IOP or PHP program of their choice, while still maintaining a certain level of independence. This partnership allows for a seamless continuum of care across the board; we know that our clients are in a safe environment, and clinicians can coordinate with CyMo House for progress updates and goal-setting.

We are committed to helping our residents as they re-build relationships with their families, attend outpatient programs, reintegrate into the work force, pursue an education, and begin to navigate life in recovery.
